What properties are included

This service is for all types of residential properties. Owner occupiers, landlords, letting agents and property management companies are invited to use the assessment. There are no usage limitations and no obligation to purchase any of our services. How does it work?

Fill in the online form and provide photos and videos where possible. This should take around 10 minutes to complete. Detailed information and clear photos/videos will help produce more accurate and comprehensive reports and recommendations. We will assess the information provided within 2-4 working days and email you, our findings. You are then able to book a 15-minute free consultation by phone or video at a time of your choosing, where one of our senior technicians will discuss your needs and concerns in more detail. This service is completely free and has no strings attached. All we ask is if you are happy with the service then leave us a review.

What should be expected from the report?

The report is not generic and will be tailor-made to the property based on the information given by the client. It will contain a variety of recommendations for repair, maintenance, upgrades, certification, energy efficiency and ventilation. Customers are also able to highlight particular topics they would like additional guidance and information on during the call.

Electrical installation and safety, reviewing current installation and possible upgrades. Review of existing consumer units, age and condition of wiring, condition of fixture and fittings.

Certificates required to rent or sell a property such as, EPCs, Gas Safety Certificates, EICR, PAT testing, Legionella Risk Assessment, inventory checks and others.

Assessment and benefits of insulating the fabric of the building including, external wall insulation, internal wall insulation, cavity wall insulation and loft insulation.

Presence of adequate ventilation such as airbricks, extractor fans, cooker hoods and trickle vents. Reviewing presence of condensation/mould and recommendations to remedy.

Existing EPC rating of the property and recommendations to increase energy efficiency to reduce energy consumption and meet Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards.

Yes. Previously we have charged £75 for this service but for a limited period we are offering the service completely free of charge with no obligation to use us. All we ask is if you are happy with the service to leave us a review that we can share with other customers.

This depends on demand which can change seasonally but we aim to complete all reports within 2-4 working days.

On completion of the assessment report we will offer a follow up call within 7 working days.

No. But providing us photos or videos of issues and concerns enables us to make accurate recommendations. We will ensure any media is not shared with anyone outside of our organisation and once it has been assessed it will be deleted.

It is important to note the assessment is carried out remotely and there is no substitution for a site visit. We aim to provide the most accurate report and recommendations but if the property is based in London and you require a more detailed assessment speak to our team about arranging a site visit.
